Overview
This policy covers olis.pro, including the launch list and ElementOne reservations. It doesn't cover the OLIS Home mobile app, which has its own privacy policy, or other companies' sites and apps.
In short: we use what you give us to keep you posted and to handle your reservation, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and we use the Meta and TikTok pixels to measure and target our ads. You can turn off ad tracking at any time under Your privacy choices.
What we collect
Information you give us
- your email address, when you join the launch list or start a reservation
- your first name, last name, and phone number, when you reserve with a deposit
- reservation details, such as the package you chose, your confirmation number, and the deposit amount and status
- anything you send us, such as support emails
Deposits are paid through Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe; we never receive or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically
When you visit, our site and the tools described under Analytics and advertising automatically collect information such as your browser and device type, your IP address and the approximate location it indicates, the pages you view and the links you click, the page that sent you here, and identifiers stored in cookies or similar technologies.
How we use it
- to send you launch updates and messages about your reservation
- to create and manage reservations and deposits, including confirmations and support
- to understand how the site is used and improve it
- to advertise OLIS on other sites and apps, such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, and to measure how our ads perform
- to prevent fraud and abuse, keep the site secure, and comply with the law
Analytics and advertising
We use these third-party tools on olis.pro. They use cookies or similar technologies, and the companies behind them may collect information about your activity on our site over time and across other websites and apps:
- Google Analytics (Google LLC), to measure traffic and how the site is used.
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.), to measure our ads on Facebook and Instagram and to show ads to people who have visited our site.
- TikTok Pixel (TikTok), to measure our ads on TikTok and to show ads to people who have visited our site.
Besides the pages you view, these tools are told when you join the launch list, start checkout, and pay a deposit, including the package and the amount.
Advanced matching
When you enter your email address or phone number on our site, we also share them with Meta and TikTok so they can match your visit to an account on their platforms and measure our ads. They are hashed (turned into a one-way code) in your browser before they're sent, so Meta and TikTok receive the code, not your email address or phone number. We don't share them if you've turned off ad tracking.
Your privacy choices
Turning off ad tracking stops the Meta Pixel and the TikTok Pixel from loading in this browser, so they receive nothing from your visits, including advanced matching. Google Analytics keeps measuring site traffic, with its advertising features turned off.
Your choice is saved in this browser. If you clear your browser data or use another browser or device, set it again there. You can also email support@olis.pro to opt out.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information and turn off ad tracking automatically.
Do Not Track
There's no common standard for browsers' Do Not Track signals, so we don't respond to them. We do honor Global Privacy Control, described above.
More options
- Opt out of Google Analytics on every site with Google's browser add-on.
- Manage your ad preferences in your Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok settings.
- Stop launch emails at any time with the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any launch email.
Retention
We keep your email address and reservation records while the launch and your reservation are active, and afterward for as long as we need them for support, accounting, tax, and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see Your rights); we'll keep only what the law requires. Our analytics and advertising partners keep what they collect under their own policies.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we have about you and how we've used and shared it
- give you a copy of it
- correct it
- delete it
- stop selling or sharing it, using Your privacy choices or by emailing us
California residents have these rights under California law, and we won't treat you differently for using them; for example, we won't charge you more or refuse your reservation. To make a request, email support@olis.pro from the address you used with us. We'll verify your identity before acting on a request, and you can use an authorized agent.
Children
olis.pro isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. We don't knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information under our control. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We'll post any changes to this policy on this page and update the effective date above. If we make a material change, we'll say so at the top of this page and, where appropriate, email you.
